Applications are now being accepting for this year’s PARK(ing) Day celebration, which is Friday, September 20. What is PARK(ing) Day? PARK(ing) Day STL is a collaborative effort between the City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office other organizations to allow St. Louisans to find alternative uses for parking spaces for a single day. August marks the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year for many families. In particular, St. Louis families were invited to attend a FREE Back to School Jam hosted by RealTalkWithDemingo at the Monsanto Family YMCA. The Monsanto Family YMCA and community organizer Demingo Loggins, Executive Director of RealTalkWithDemingo, started the event in 2015.
