APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Please fill out the application to lease Soulard Lot for Mardi Gras Parade 2027 on February 6, 2027, from 9 am to 6 pm.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Please provide detailed responses.<\/p>\n

\u2022 All applications MUST be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, August 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Please submit any questions to stltreasurer@stltreasurer.org by 5 pm on Friday, July 24, 2026. Responses will be provided by 5 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Dates for usage of Soulard Lot are as follows:<\/p>\n

Lease shall commence on Monday, February 1, 2027, at 6 am and concludes on Friday, February 12, 2027, at 5 pm. The lot must be returned to its original condition by the effective lease end date on February 12, 2027, at 5 pm.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Event Organizer\/Promoter Contact Information (must include)<\/p>\n

Organizer\/ Promoter name, address, city\/state\/zip code, email address, and phone number.<\/p>\n

2. Layout\/Safety Plan (must include)<\/p>\n

The layout plan must include event layout, tent vendor information, indicate the size of tent(s) and anchoring requirements, liquor vendor information, approximate attendance, entertainment details, trash disposal plan, set up and break down details.<\/p>\n

3. Security\/Emergency Plan (must include)<\/p>\n

Security vendor information, security plan, emergency egress plans, and emergency response details.<\/p>\n

The applicant is responsible for obtaining all required City and State permits and licenses to operate this event, including but not limited to tent permits, excise permits, food\/health permits, generator permits, etc.<\/p>\n

4. Insurance<\/p>\n

The applicant must provide General Liability insurance covering personal and contractual, broad from liability, property damage, and medical expenses in a combined single limit of at least $4,000,000.<\/p>\n

FEES<\/b><\/p>\n

5. Rent<\/p>\n

Total rent is $15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) payable in full by December 18, 2026 by 5 pm and is NON \u2013 REFUNDABLE.<\/p>\n

6. Repair and Maintenance Deposit (Separate Payment from Rent)<\/p>\n

Total repair and maintenance deposit is $12,000 (Twelve Thousand) and is payable in full by December 18, 2026, by 5pm*. The lot must be restored to its original condition by the lease end date of February 12, 2027. The applicant is responsible for any damage, including but not limited to areas where tent(s) stakes have been driven through pavement.<\/p>\n

*Refundable if the lot is restored to pre-event conditions.<\/p>\n
