ST. LOUIS, MO — The City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office is proud to announce the College Kids 10th Anniversary Gala: A Decade of Impact, taking place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Saint Louis Science Center (5050 Oakland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110) from 6pm – 10 pm. This milestone event will celebrate a decade of empowering St. Louis students and families through the College Kids Children’s Savings Account Program, which has helped thousands of students build financial literacy and plan for their futures. The evening will feature inspiring reflections, entertainment, and awards honoring community partners and participants who have made an impact on the program’s success. Treasurer Adam Layne will deliver the keynote address, highlighting the program’s growth and continued commitment to creating opportunities for youth across St. Louis. The event will also feature Youth Speaker Precious Barry, sharing her personal College Kids journey, and Emcee Damon Arnold of KMOV, who will guide guests through an evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration. “The College Kids program is more than a savings account—it’s a promise to our city’s children that we believe in their dreams,” said Treasurer Adam Layne. “This gala marks ten years of collective commitment from families, schools, and community partners who’ve made college and career readiness a reality for thousands of students.” The College Kids 10th Anniversary Gala: A Decade of Impact will bring together community leaders, educators, parents, and supporters to honor the achievements of the program and chart its vision for the next decade.
