The St. Louis Treasurer’s Office Invites Local Businesses, Organizations, and Individuals to Participate in PARK(ing) Day 2019! Applications are now being accepting for this year’s PARK(ing) Day celebration, which is Friday, September 20. What is PARK(ing) Day? August marks the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year for many families. In particular, St. Louis families were invited to attend a FREE Back to School Jam hosted by RealTalkWithDemingo at the Monsanto Family YMCA. The Monsanto Family YMCA and community organizer Demingo Loggins, Executive Director of RealTalkWithDemingo, started the event in 2015. Parking Meter Enforcement Schedule Christmas Week 2018

There will be no parking meter enforcement in the City of St. Louis on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, due to both days being City holidays. The City recently announced the addition of Christmas Eve to the City holiday schedule, since December 24 falls on Monday this year. Regular parking meter enforcement resumes on Wednesday, December 26, at 8 a.m. Parking Meter Enforcement Schedule: Monday, December 24: No meter enforcement (city holiday) Tuesday, December 25: No meter enforcement (city holiday) Wednesday, December 26-Saturday, December 29: Regular parking meter enforcement, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office Reaches Deal on FY19 Budget

(JUNE 7, 2018)--The City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office has reached an agreement regarding the FY19 Parking Division Budget. The Treasurer’s Office has agreed to transfer $10 million from the Parking Division unrestricted reserves into the City of St. Louis general revenue reserve fund. The Treasurer’s Office will also increase the Parking Division’s budget by $800,000 to restore the Neighborhood Stabilization Office (NSO) cuts, and by $250,000 to pay for new City tow trucks. Today, my staff and I testified before the Streets, Traffic and Refuse Committee regarding the FY19 Parking Division Budget. It is no secret that Alderman Jeffrey Boyd, who is chairman of this committee, has threatened to make drastic changes to our budget. Today, he kept his promise and attempted to cut essential members of my staff, playing petty politics with people’s livelihoods.
