City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office Hosts Annual College Kids Field Day
St, Louis, MO – The City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office is excited to host its College Kids Annual Field Day on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City Hall Upper Level Parking Lot located at 1200 Market Street. This free and family-friendly event is open to the public and celebrates community, youth empowerment, and financial literacy in a fun and engaging way.
The Field Day is part of the College Kids Children’s Savings Account Program, which helps families save for higher education and builds a culture of college readiness starting in kindergarten.
The event will feature a variety of activities including:
• 3-on-3 Basketball Tournaments
• Sack races & outdoor games
• Face painting & giveaways
• Music, food, and fun for all ages
“This day is about celebrating our youth and reminding families that financial empowerment begins early,” said Treasurer Adam Layne. “Through the College Kids program, we are planting the seeds for future success—this event brings that mission to life in a fun and festive way.”
Community partners, city departments, and local organizations will be on hand to share resources and support services. Families also can learn more about the College Kids program and how to maximize savings for their child’s future.
