Initiative to promote financial literacy The Treasurer's Office is teaming up with the St. Louis Regional Unbanked Task Force to celebrate the second anniversary of the Bank On, Save Up St. Louis initiative. This celebration takes place on Friday, February 28 at 10:00 am, at the William J. Harrison Education Center, 3140 Cass Avenue, 63106. Volunteers available to assist with income tax preparation and filing. The 2014 tax filing season begins on January 31, and the City of St. Louis Treasurer's Office would like low to moderate income residents to consider using volunteer income tax assistance when preparing and filing their tax returns. Opportunity for metropolitan area residents to provide feedback on Integrated Parking Technology The City of St. Louis Treasurer's Office is seeking area residents to serve on a new Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) in order to provide feedback on parking in the City. CAC applicants must have a valid driver's license and should live in the metropolitan St. Louis area. Applicants must be avid users of parking meters in St. Louis City.
